Without Leadership skill of at least 8 the packs will fail to recognize the amulet and will attack you until you talk to Chorass in Chorass' Camp. Be careful of the exploding Kyshakk, as they will deal a lot of damage to your party if you're melee-heavy.

You must cross the entire zone after speaking to Chorass, a Cryodrayk guarding the entrance to Tavald's Crypt. He will not allow you to pass into the crypt without being a member of the Rebels.
