Cryodrayks are modified Drayks, large lizard creatures who are very intelligent. They are Barred due to their high intelligence and extremely high tendencies to go rogue. Any Cryodrayk found in Shaper lands is to be immediately destroyed.
Shaping/Reproduction
Cryodrayks are a subcategory of Drayks and thus part of the Fire Shaping class. They require more essence to control than a regular Drayk, but were the most powerful creation in Geneforge 1. Cryodrayks are able to reproduce naturally.
Physical Abilities
Cryodrayks are modified Drayks that are much more resistant to colder settings. Being creations which prefer cold settings, many of them establish their nests in cold areas such as the Drypeak Mountains. An entire colony of Cryodrayks can be visited in Geneforge 4 outside Northforge Citadel. Their skin is blue-violet and is, unsurprisingly, resistant against Cold Damage. Cryodrayks have both the ability to shoot lances of ice and to deliver a powerful bite thanks to their short but muscular neck.
Mental Abilities
Like Drayks, Cryodrayks are extremely intelligent. They have been known to take on the position of General for the rebels. They are capable of speech and logical thought, and resistant to mental effects.
